It’s book festival season, and I’m happy to have been invited to three festivals to talk about my Nocturne book. I’m putting the information here in case any of my readers lives nearby and would like to come along.

Sunday 27 September at 4.30pm, Wigtown Book Festival, Dumfriesshire. I’ll be interviewed by Robert Philip, author of A Little History of Music.

Saturday 17 October at 8.30pm, Parabola Arts Centre, Cheltenham Festival of Literature. This event will be chaired by Michael Spitzer, author of The Musical Human. I’ll be playing some piano music to illustrate different kinds of night music. Please note that this isn’t a concert, though – it’s a book event with a bit of live music.

Friday 23 October at 7pm, Off the Shelf Festival of Words, Sheffield. Robert Philip will be interviewing me. Again, I’ll be playing some live music during the event.

I think these festivals conclude the series of talks and concerts I’ve been giving in connection with the Nocturne book since it came out in March. Please tell your friends if you think they might like to be there.
